Yard work at residential home for adults with disabilities
Upcoming Dates
05/02/2015
10:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Beaverbrook STEP provides progressive residential and day time services and supports for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). We have 35 residential sites and 4 day service locations. Volunteers will do yard work (pruning, raking, mulching, gardening, clean up) at one of our residential homes located at 8 Panteline Terrace in Watertown. In addition to residential beautification, the project will improve the environmental & clinical lives of the 5 men and women with IDD who live at this home. The project would benefit from volunteers with generic yard work skills. Please wear suitable clothing for yard work. Children may volunteer with an adult. Don’t forget to join us from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on May 2nd at the Arsenal Project for a kickoff breakfast and free T-shirt!
