Cleanup after yard sale
Upcoming Dates
05/02/2015
01:30 PM - 04:00 PM
The mission of the Council on Aging is to provide programs that keeps the Town’s senior population a vital part of the community through educational, social, health & recreational programs. Volunteers will enable us to have the yard sale which is our primary fundraiser, by packing various items into boxes and carrying out to cars and dumpster, sweeping, helping with trash, and stacking tables. Volunteers will be cleaning up after the yard sale and are also invited to come ahead and enjoy the sale. This activity will provide a chance for seniors to be a part of this program, socialize, and an inter-generational affair. This activity will involve some heavy lifting including boxes of books, dishes, tools, etc. Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dusty or dirty. Volunteers are asked to commit at least 2 hours. Don’t forget to join us from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on May 2nd at the Arsenal Project for a kickoff breakfast and free T-shirt!
