    10:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Wayside and the Watertown Youth Coalition have a mission of empowering children, young adults and families to achieve greater independence and emotional well-being. Volunteers can do one or both of the following projects: (1) Writing congratulatory/encouraging notes to be distributed to Watertown High School seniors before graduation. The notes will be used as a means of encouraging Watertown youth to continue to make healthy decisions as they graduate from college. (2) Projects connected to HIV Prevention and Substance Abuse Prevention such as putting stickers with information about HIV testing on condoms. This will benefit the programs that provide support around HIV and substance abuse prevention in Watertown and surrounding towns. (These projects can be done in separate rooms if any volunteers would prefer that they be separated.) Volunteers are asked to commit to at least a 2-hour shift. Don’t forget to join us from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on May 2nd at the Arsenal Project for a kickoff breakfast and free T-shirt!
