Carpentry, cleaning and painting at the Watertown Boys & Girls Club
Upcoming Dates
05/02/2015
10:00 AM - 02:00 PM
The mission of the Watertown Boys & Girls Club is “to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” Volunteers will build cubbies, touch up paint, wash gym walls, and paint gym walls. This will help to brighten up the facility for the kids. If you will be helping make cubbies, you will need to bring a saw and tools. We had the wood on site. IF YOU ARE A CARPENTER, we encourage you to contact us prior to 5/2 to discuss the project and supplies. Volunteers are asked to commit to the entire 4-hour shift. Wear clothes you can paint in and bring a brown-bag lunch. Don’t forget to join us from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on May 2nd at the Arsenal Project for a kickoff breakfast and free T-shirt!
