  • Clean up and organize the library’s magazine collection

    Upcoming Dates

    10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The WFPL provides library services to all people regardless of circumstance. We need help cleaning up our magazine collection. The volunteer will use an alphabetic list of our current magazine holdings and match it with what is actually on the shelf. We will ask you to highlight changes to be made (based on more detailed instructions we will provide) and also help relabel the shelves using a label maker. We have many "clean up" type projects that are often overlooked because we don't have the staff time to tend to them. This will help our magazine collection be better organized and more accurately represent our magazine holdings. Volunteers for this project need to be able to read, know alphabetical order, and be able to type and print on a label maker. This project should take about 2 hours. Volunteers under 18 will have to present a permission slip signed by their parent/guardian on or before the day of service. Don’t forget to join us from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on May 2nd at the Arsenal Project for a kickoff breakfast and free T-shirt!
