The WFPL provides library services to all people regardless of circumstance. Every summer the children's department plants and tends to a garden. We need help fixing one of our raised beds, weeding, and planting the garden. The end product should be that two raised bed gardens will be planted. We use the garden to expose children to gardening. We will provide all materials necessary. We'll need someone who can help repair a basic raised bed. The footprint is already there from years past, but a new frame needs to be assembled. Someone with gardening skills would be helpful. Volunteers should wear clothing that can get dirty. This project could take as few as 2 hours, but you may want to bring a lunch in case it runs longer. Children 5 and over are welcome to volunteer with an adult.
