Gardening, painting benches, and cleanup at the Hosmer School

Volunteers will create, maintain, and oversee garden plots at the Hosmer School for students to work and study in. Chores TBD in or around the existing four raised beds. Perhaps painting nearby benches or even building or repairing beds, depending on volunteer’s skills. Useful skills could include gardening; basic painting; or experience in construction of raised beds. Wear clothes you can paint in or get dirty in. Meet at the Hosmer School, at the corner of Chauncey and Hancock Streets. Don’t forget to join us from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on May 2nd at the Arsenal Project for a kickoff breakfast and free T-shirt!
