Metro West CD seeks to promote policies and programs that result in the creation of affordable housing in Watertown and 20 other Metro West towns. Volunteers will do a spring clean-up of an affordable housing development. Work may include: weeding and mulching flower beds, flower planting and light painting. The project will visibly improve the site for the tenants who live there and the neighbors who pass by. No special skills required. Children are welcome to volunteer with an adult. Volunteers are asked to commit the entire two hours. Wear clothes you can get dirty and possibly paint splatted. Don’t forget to join us from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on May 2nd at the Arsenal Project for a kickoff breakfast and free T-shirt!
