Yard work at the Edmund Fowle House
Upcoming Dates
05/02/2015
10:00 AM - 01:00 PM
The Historical Society of Watertown collects, preserves, and shares materials from Watertown's past, so that present and future generations can comprehend more fully their predecessors, their community, and themselves. We need help doing yard work at the Edmund Fowle House, our headquarters. We will be tidying up the flower beds and putting down mulch for the upcoming spring/summer seasons. There are beautiful flowers and plantings all around the Fowle House that need care to keep them looking attractive. We are an all-volunteer organization and welcome help on large projects. Volunteers are requested to stay for at least 2 hours; however, we welcome all volunteers even if you can only stay for an hour. Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. We will have bottled water on hand. We will be happy to give all volunteers a brief tour of the Fowle House before they start working. Don’t forget to join us from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on May 2nd at the Arsenal Project for a kickoff breakfast and free T-shirt!
