Somerville Homeless Coalition

The Somerville Homeless Coalition operates 2 shelters and a food pantry, as well as provides case management, supportive services, and homeless prevention programs. Volunteers can help prepare meals for the Shelter guests, organize food drives and drives for other items (e.g. school supplies, winter coats, toiletries, holiday gifts), assist with events and provide occasional administrative support (e.g. mailings).

Mission: To end homelessness in Somerville, by providing homeless and near homeless individuals and families with individualized supportive services and tailored housing solutions with a goal of obtaining and maintaining affordable housing.
