Horizons for Homeless Children

Our Playspace Program partners with family homeless shelters across the state of MA. We design and install trauma informed playrooms. We recruit, train and manage volunteers who provide 2 hours of healing play each week for at least 6 months. We also support parents through providing workshops in areas such as child development, child behaviors, communicating with young children and more.

Mission: The mission of Horizons for Homeless Children is to improve the lives of young homeless children in Massachusetts and help their families succeed by providing high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and comprehensive family support services.
